Flight Departures at Mactan Cebu Airport

Mactan–Cebu International Airport is the only international airport serving Cebu and nearby provinces of Leyte, Bohol, Negros, and some locations in Mindanao island.

Getting to Mactan-Cebu Airport

Buses, taxis, and car rental services are available for visitors traveling to MCIA from anywhere on the island.

Rental Cars - There are several car rental companies at Mactan-Cebu Airport - be sure to return your rental car to the relevant location as per your car rental agreement.

Taxis - The flag down rate for a white taxi starts at P40.00 (0.80 US$), with an additional P13.00 (0.25 US$) for every succeeding kilometer. The average cost for a trip from downtown Cebu City to the airport is around 12 US$. (Note: Yellow cabs are for arriving passengers at MCIA to a local destination only). Buses - Tourists can also take a MyBus from SM City terminal point to MCIA. This trip takes one hour with departures every 20 minutes from 6 am to 9 pm daily. More information about buses to and from Mactan-Cebu Airport.

Upon arrival at MCIA, visitors may go straight to T2 Departure Level Check-in Area for security checking and pre-departure formalities.

The airport has two terminals serving 12 million passengers per year, with an annual growth rate of 12%.

Terminal 1 is the main gateway to anywhere in the Philippines such as Bacolod, Busuanga, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calbayog, Camiguin, Caticlan, Dipolog, Dumaguete, Iloilo, Legazpi, Manila, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, Zamboanga, Davao, General Santos, Puerto Princesa, and many more.

Terminal 2 offers international flights to different destinations such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo, Nanning, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Qatar, and many other international destinations.

The airport also serves as an entry point for tourists from other parts of Asia, the US, and Oceania to explore some tourist spots in Cebu.

Visitors can explore the beauty of Bantayan Island in the north or sunbathe at Dolphin House Resort in the south.

Tourists can also try the dive sites off Cebu's crystal clear waters in nearby islands of Malapascua, Sumilon, Olango, and Camotes.

Restaurants at MCIA offer a wide variety of dishes that will satisfy any taste.

In 2019, the MCIA airport authority launched a free Wi-Fi service at the Mactan Cebu International Airport Terminal 1 and 2. Internet connectivity is now available in most areas within the airport facility.

It also provides an information desk, souvenir items shops, a Duty-Free shop, money changer counters, and several ATMs like Metrobank, BDO, PNB, BPI, Security Bank, China Bank, RCBC, UCPB, PS Bank, and Union Bank.
